As a Functional Nutrition Practitioner and Menopause Specialist, I help women 40+ ditch the confusion, stop chasing quick fixes, and finally take control of their hormones, metabolism, and energy—without dieting, calorie counting, or BS gimmicks.
28+ years in holistic and functional health have taught me one thing: Most menopause advice is outdated, misleading, and just plain wrong. Dieting, calorie restriction, and generic ‘wellness’ tips aren’t the answer—getting to the root cause is. Forget restrictive diets and frustrating guesswork. HOW IT ALL STARTED
IT ALL BEGAN IN 1996
Coaching Became My Passion
My health and wellness journey began over 28 years ago when I experienced gestational diabetes during both of my pregnancies. This personal challenge ignited my passion for understanding the profound impact of nutrition on metabolic health. In 2001, a diagnosis of Hashimoto's and Hypothyroidism further fueled my commitment to improving my nutrition.
As my children grew, I became acutely aware of the hidden sugars and unhealthy ingredients in many of their favorite foods. This realization led me to take control of our family's nutrition, starting with making our own condiments and eventually evolving to preparing all our meals from scratch. Through this process, I discovered the power of replacing unhealthy ingredients with nutritious alternatives, all while maintaining the flavors my family loved.
This personal journey not only transformed my family's health but also laid the foundation for my approach to nutrition coaching. I understand firsthand the challenges of managing metabolic conditions and the importance of finding a flexible, sustainable approach to healthy eating that doesn't sacrifice enjoyment. My experience has equipped me with practical strategies for integrating wholesome nutrition into a busy family life, which I now share with my clients.
AND THEN I DECIDED TO DO THIS…
In 2013, I earned my Master's degree in Environmental Studies, focusing on food safety and the intricacies of the US food system. This experience ignited my passion for healthy nutrition, a subject I've been deeply exploring ever since.
My journey took a personal turn in 2017 when my husband was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. This motivated me to become a certified health & life coach, with additional certifications in Mastery Level and Transformation coaching. I further expanded my expertise by:
Adding holistic nutrition certifications in 2019 and 2023
Completed a Menopause Coaching Specialist certification in 2023
Obtained two Macro Nutrition certifications in 2024
Became a Functional Nutrition Practitioner in 2025
Nutrition has become my life's passion, and I feel compelled to share this knowledge with others. Despite being 100% introverted, I can't stop talking about nutrition! Drawing on my background as a teacher, I love educating others about health and wellness.
This passion led me to start my own business, where I help individuals create sustainable, healthy habits to activate their health potential.
